Owls are likely my most popular woodcarvings.
I have carved many of the owl species of North America over the past several years. My personal favorites are the
Barred Owl and the Snowy Owl. Both of these are fairly large birds with soft, rounded features. I attempt to present the soft
feathering of these birds by carefully detailing the veining of each feather. Click on one of the images below to view a specific
